FAQ

How does Botox work?

Botox works by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for creating dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines. It blocks nerve signals to the muscles, reducing their movement and thereby smoothing the skin over time.

How long does it take to see results?

Clients typically start to see results within 5 to 10 days after the treatment, with full results visible around 10 to 14 days post-injection.

How long do the effects of Botox last?

The effects of Botox usually last 4 to 6 months, though this can vary based on factors like metabolism, muscle activity, lifestyle and the type of Botox used. Regular maintenance treatments are needed to maintain results.

Botox Aftercare

Avoid Touching or Massaging the Treated Area: Refrain from rubbing, massaging, or applying pressure to the injected areas for at least 24 hours. This helps prevent the Botox from spreading to unintended muscles.

Avoid Strenuous Exercise and Heat Exposure: Refrain from intense physical activities, heavy exercise, saunas, hot tubs, and sun exposure for at least 3 days post-treatment. These activities can increase blood flow and potentially cause the Botox to spread or reduce its effectiveness.

No Alcohol Consumption: Avoid alcohol for at least 5 days after the procedure. Alcohol can increase the risk of bruising and swelling at the injection sites.

Be Gentle with Your Skin: Use gentle skincare products and avoid facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or any other treatments on the face for at least 2 weeks after Botox. These procedures could interfere with the Botox or irritate the skin.
